Just use a GUI tool. https://github.com/sezanzeb/input-remapper this one works perfecly fine for me (I’m on Debian tho)
I’ve been using Debian unstable since 4 months and I never got a kernel panic. The biggest problems I faced was with the Nvidia drivers but I learned how to deal with it (by not using the drivers in the official repo)
On Wayland your DE might get in the way of touchegg with its gestures. I wouldn’t reccomend it on Plasma Wayland. (Last time I checked was like two years ago)

Nobody ever talks about LxQt, that was my first GNU/Linux experience on Lubuntu 19.10. It had a modern design only using about 300 MB of RAM. LxQt is watching the match outside the ring

There are games with anticheat which are compatible with Linux. Usually Easy Anti Cheat games will work fine. Go to protondb.com if you want to check the compatibility with a game. Sorry, I can’t answer the other quesrions for you, I don’t use Fedora
Yeah it’s unusable on Windows. On Linux it actually performs quite well but don’t expect to do anything crazy on it
