One of the rehabs has a fun weekly game to guess the species based on a very zoomed in photo.
I did get it right in the end, but I thought it was a little bit tricky.
Anyone got any guesses hoo this fuzzy foot belongs to?

It does look like the fish fur used in Soviet style hats, but that is not this.

Indeed! No owl is big enough to cause any life threatening injuries (if you disregard that Barred Owl murder theory!) but this owl could absolutely leave a lasting impression on you if you made it upset!

There were many good guesses. I can’t fool you guys!
At first I thought it was a Snowy, but the color didn’t look right. I’m used to them having the fuzziest toes of the owls. The only other foot that giant and fluffy is our dear friend, the GHO!
So I think you all got it or came in a very close second. Way to go!
